Photography web site

Halo, Haslingden Lancashire
Here's a UK's photographer's site containing some interesting images. There's a WWII weekend and some derelict urbex photoshoots, plus the well know Victoria Baths in Manchester - currently being restored - which has been home to many TV programs over the years such as Cracker and Life On Mars. http://www.light-and-shade.co.uk

Link to a data recovery blog

There's a decent blog about data recovery here http://datarecoveryinformation.wordpress.com. With links to various (mainly) UK sites about storage, hard disk drives and data recovery. More about RAID and server arrays, external hard drive storage, what's happening in the world of storage. Only two manufacturers remain these days - Seagate and Western Digital, both selling millions of hard drives every year. Infact if you think about it, hard drives are everywhere...

Another technical IT storage blog

A technical blog / storage / IT type site that I am contributing to can be found here http://janschon.edublogs.org. The idea is to make it specific to hard disk storage, developments in storage technology and manufacturers such as Seagate and Western Digital. Looking a servers and RAID arrays but also single disk systems such as external hard drives.

uk data recovery site

uk-data-recovery
A new site that recovers data from hard drives and RAID servers has been launched in the UK. It's URL is http://www.uk-data-recovery.co.uk. An across the UK service is provided but it's not just limited to the Great Britain. UK-data-recovery get quite a lot of broken hard disks from across the world - especially Europe. They provide data recovery services and are open 7 days a week from 8am until 8pm. I took the photo used on the hompage.
