Sumo hard drive HP Recovery?

Sumo Hard drive 500gb. Light comes on but no usual "whirring sound" that indicates it is working. And when plugged in to USB in laptop, says not recognised.

According to the data recovery team at Recover Deleted Data, url here, the hard drive is:
Samsung 2.5" SATA 1TB HDD
Model: ST1000LM024
p/n: HN-M101MBB/AVA
Rev. A
F/W: 2BA30003 - Sumo
Ideally looking for good read/write heads.

I have two hard drives from two different laptops, both Hewlett Packard PCs. They have both been removed from the machines and I would like to have the data transferred to an external hard drive. I would like to know how much this would cost.

HP Hitachi external hard drive 1TB, makes funny noise and I cannot fget to work. my hard drive broke and there are some family photos on there that I would like recovering. the broken hard drive I have at home as I kept it when I had my new one installed. could you help in anyway

Have a WD external hard drive which is full of photos now not recognised by the computer (tried on several) light work on the HD and it's making its normal noise just not being recognised. Tried different leads too

I have an external WD hard drive full of photos which is now not being recognised by the computer (tried on several)
Also different leads
Light is on on the Sumo HD and it's making its normal noises just not being recognised

My husband has just accidentally formatted his HP CF card. We used it on Saturday to take wedding pictures for his sister's wedding (about 550 pictures). He bought a card reader to plug into the laptop. It doesn't appear to be working so even if I install recovery software I can't use the card reader to recover the CF card. Is this a service you are able to help with at all?

Help with hard drive fault

I have a seagate backup plus portable device (model: SRD0SP0). The lead which connects the external hard drive to the computer has broken and I am now no longer able to use the hard-drive. I would like to retrieve the information from it if possible. I am happy to bring it to the shop. Could you advise how long you would need the device for and approximate cost?

My laptop hard drive failed just before a scheduled backup was done. It was replaced under warranty with PC World, but they seem unable to retrieve both the documents and photographs on the drive. The drive sounds as though it has a problem with the read/write heads but I don't have a suitable spare drive to put the platters in, though I hope you will.

Above hard drive not showing up on our laptop, or two others we've tried. Spoke to a computer repair person who was fairly sure from the noise it was making that it was the actual drive which had failed. Mainly interested in recovering photos etc. from it. Seagate 500gb P/N 9SF2A2-500.

I have a seagate freeagent or some thing like that . I turned my pc of and back on and now i have a double tick/click and then a beep i wouldnt mind normally but i had just put all my pics on it and really dont want to loose them. If this is able to ne recovered how much would it likely cost?

I was using a WD My passport for mac as a network drive connected to an Apple air port. It stopped working and is behaving like it has lost power.
Any ideas on file recovery as it hold my iTunes library.

I have a Samsung M3 portable external hard drive. I'm unable to access it and find my saved data when I connect it to my computer. It seems the computer can dfind it (for example the name will appear when I want to eject it) but I'm getting nowhere when trying to access the data.

Sea hate 2tb expansion disk can see on pc but cannot access data which is my music library with approx 7000 tracks on

Costs: £400 - £1000, excluding VAT.

Phone problems that need sorting

My mam has factory reset her samsung tab 4 android tablet and we were wondering about costs for recovering all the pictures and data that was there before

We also have an LG G4 which s stuck in a boot loop error. It has worked fine for about 20 months. I'm not sure if it's part of the batch LG were taken to court over. If the service isn't too expensive I'd love to recover my data as I have lots of holiday snaps etc on the phone

My brother needs to recover data from Samsung edge what's app messages and photos on certain number, specifically, Facebook messages from certain person. He is in London

I've got a dead HDD at home and I want to recover the data off of it. I've tried using a Sata to USB cable to connect it up but my PC won't find it, if I put it in a SATA port on my motherboard, my PC just won't boot presumably as there is something corrupt preventing it. What sort of cost am I looking at to recover the data?

Portable hard drive, dropped, no physical damage. However since I can see the files, but can only download smaller files, even this is erratic. It is a MD my passport and has 270GB on it

I have a Samsung s7 with no screen. I want to recover everything off the phone to put onto my new phone once I've claimed on my insurance. No problem with the phone bar the lack of screen. Which means their is no touch screen etc.

Hard Disk Recovery Questions

I am looking to recover data from a HD [hard disk] which was accidentally lost , the drive is working fine , I don't want to leave my device , wondering is it possible to support over the phone to recover the data , i can pay for the online support , you can tell me to download any software which will help me to restore data , but it has to be done by me , Let me know if it is possible and how much it costs in that case.

Answer: It's not usually possible to perform file recoveries over the phone, we usually need to hard disk in the lab as there is usually something wrong with it that we need to work on.

Hardrive making ticking noise when connected. i have 2 external hard drives, by your examples, i think it is a mechanical failure on both hard drives. can i get a quote sent to me by email please. I dropped the hard drive and now it will not show any information when I plug it into my computer

Answer: A data recovery quote will be somewhere in the range of £400 and £800 depending on the type of problem you have.

I have old used hard disk i need to recover all that data but am not sure is that working now, model hitachi is that possible to do that if you want to know about that thing kindly call me plz… thank you

Answer: We know a lot about rescuing the data from Hitachi hard drives - please contact me for more details.

Data Clinic recovers Buffalo Ministation

MacBook (OSX) won't boot up, put drive in an external USB Carrier and won't mount, nor could it be seen via Disk Utility or Data Rescue. Drive doesn't appear to be ticking. I have had a few drives recovered by Data Clinic. Can you remind me if the diagnosis/quote is FOC, even if data is recoverable. I ask as the client wants to know how much it would cost before they commit if it us possible to recover the data.

I have two external hard drives. I would like to migrate the old time machine backups on to my new hard drive but can't seemed to do so. Also, I can't open mail on my new time machine

HP laptop hard drive seems to have died on me, when I turn the laptop on it asks for windows OS to be installed. There is a ticking sort of noise and the HD isn't working in my SATA hard drive reader. Important files on there that I need. Data recovery needed and need a quote.

Buffalo Ministation banged
Ticking sounds but now stopped
Not readabke. The hard drive in question is a 1TB external 2.5 inch Toshiba usb drive. It belongs to a friend of mine and has alot of photos stored on. When he bought this hard drive i partitioned it into two 500gb partitions for him as to use 500gb for photos (from his computer/laptop) and 500gb for his grandsons Xbox games. His grandson knocked it off the top of his Xbox falling about 6 inches while plugged in and it failed. It attempts to spin up and after around 6 seconds it gives off a constant loud click every 3 or 4 seconds. I opened the caddy to try the hard drive directly plugged into my Desktop computer (to rule out failed usb controller) and gives the same results.

I have two external hard drives. I would like to merge the two Time machine updates. Also, I can not access Mail through Time Machine

I need to recover 3-4 TB from a hard drive, damaged as per the description below:
Drive type: 10-head external 4 TB 2.5" Seagate ST4000LM016, serial W80031QS Fault: Heads mashed and mangled, locked firmware etc.
PC Medic has quoted the cost at £990 + VAT + the cost of a new hard drive to receive the data. This seems rather expensive. I do need the data back, but I can afford to wait a few weeks.
I live in Solihull but am currently in the Isle of Wight. If you think you can make a better offer, please say so ASAP, preferably by 4 pm on Tuesday May 23 2017. If I decide to use your services, I'll try to deliver the drive to you on Saturday May 27 (or the nearest subsequent day you can receive it)
